This place was good, the price for alacarte was very reasonable and sufficient for even 2 ppl. The service was also good. Recommended place for lunch.

It honestly tasted like the chef was already off duty and someone random from the front just threw the food together. I was pretty irritated eating it. The whole vibe was so cold. The server wouldn’t even say a word when serving or clearing dishes, like they were mad we came in late. Never go into a restaurant right before closing—it just ruins the whole experience.

Lunch special sets start daily at 11 am. I like the boiled fish set meal and the spicy hot pot set meal. Each lunch special also includes 10 extra skewers of your choice of grilled meats and a complimentary bottle of soft drink, cola, chrysanthemum tea, and hawthorn juice. Available in mild, medium, and spicy flavors. You can also choose the daily self-service meal mode. I haven't planned to try the grilled fish yet. Mala Tang is much better than Yang Guofu and Zhang Liang's. The key to delicious mala tang lies in its seasoning techniques.

1. Great food, can ask for modifications, from warming mala tang to bbq skewers to sauerkraut fish. went there many times in cold weather 2. Great service, extremely nice customer service very attentive. 3. Great option for big groups or even singular meals, their combos are amazing offering an entree, 10 skewers of your choosing, and even a drink. 4. Their main focus isn’t on dessert, and I’ve yet to tried theirs but i can tell you for sure their drink is great, whether taro or pineapple, it’s a great tasty drink to cool u down from the spiciness 5. Price is great, i wish i’d have taken picture of the menu for whoever is reading this, but for individual meals, even just the beef noodles soup is only 12$, the combos are extremely good value usually less than 20$ for big bowl of noodles (you have different options as well) with lots of topping, 10 skewers, and a drink 6. service is fast, practically no wait before getting seated
